General questions
Which doctor should I see for back pain?
For most back pain without a serious injury, a physiotherapist is a good first point of contact: they can assess the cause, treat it and advise on posture and exercise. See a doctor or orthopaedic specialist first, or go to an emergency department, if you have loss of bladder or bowel control, numbness around the groin, worsening leg weakness, fever, unexplained weight loss, or pain after a major fall or accident. We refer to specialists whenever needed.
How much does physiotherapy cost in Delhi?
Physiotherapy charges in Delhi vary with the clinic, the physiotherapist’s experience and the treatment involved. As a rough guide, clinic sessions in Delhi commonly cost from about ₹500 to ₹1,500 per session. For Endrophin’s current charges per session, call 99539 11642. We explain your treatment plan and its cost before starting.
How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?
It depends on the problem and how long you have had it. Recent pain often improves noticeably within a handful of sessions, while long-standing or post-surgical problems usually need a few weeks of treatment combined with home exercise. You will get an honest estimate at your first visit, and we avoid unnecessary repeat sessions.
Do I need a doctor’s referral to see a physiotherapist?
No, you can book directly. If you have seen a doctor or had scans, bring the prescription and reports so we have the full picture.
What happens at the first physiotherapy visit?
We ask about your problem and your goals, examine how you move, test strength and nerves where needed, explain the diagnosis, and usually start treatment the same day. You leave with a plan and simple exercises to do at home.
What should I wear or bring?
Wear loose, comfortable clothes that let us see and move the painful area, such as shorts for knee problems. Bring any prescriptions, X-ray, MRI or surgery reports, and a list of medicines you take.
Is physiotherapy painful?
Physiotherapy should not be very painful. Some techniques cause mild discomfort and you may feel a little sore after the first sessions, much like after exercise. Tell us if anything hurts more than is comfortable and we will adjust it.
Is there a lady physiotherapist at Endrophin?
Yes. Dr. Bhawana Aggarwal (PT), MPT (Sports), is a female physiotherapist with 20+ years of experience who personally treats every patient at the Pitampura clinic.
