Joint & pain management

Knee & joint pain treatment in Pitampura

Knee pain, heel pain and stiff, aching joints can make walking, climbing stairs and sitting cross-legged hard work. At Endrophin we treat joint pain without depending on medicines, using hands-on therapy, carefully chosen exercise and pain-relief techniques such as dry needling, cupping and trigger point therapy.

For knee osteoarthritis in particular, international guidelines recommend exercise therapy as a core first-line treatment. A well-structured physiotherapy programme can help you walk more comfortably and, for many people, delay or avoid surgery.

What we treat

Joint and pain conditions we treat

Knee pain & knee osteoarthritis

Strengthening the thigh and hip muscles, improving joint mobility, weight-bearing advice and manual therapy reduce pain and stiffness in arthritic knees. We also treat knee pain from overuse, kneecap problems and old injuries.

Arthritis physiotherapy

For osteoarthritis and well-controlled inflammatory arthritis, we work on joint-friendly strength, mobility and activity pacing to keep you independent and active, alongside your doctor’s medical treatment.

Heel pain & plantar fasciitis

Sharp heel pain with the first steps in the morning is a classic sign of plantar fasciitis. Calf and foot strengthening, stretching, footwear advice, taping and soft-tissue release help it settle.

Shoulder pain

Pain when lifting your arm, lying on your side or reaching behind your back can come from the rotator cuff, a frozen shoulder or the neck. We find the source and treat it with mobilisation and progressive strengthening.

Hip pain

Hip arthritis, gluteal tendon pain and stiffness after long sitting respond well to targeted hip strengthening, mobility work and changes to how you load the joint day to day.

Wrist pain & carpal tunnel syndrome

Tingling in the fingers, wrist pain and weak grip from carpal tunnel syndrome or overuse are treated with nerve and tendon gliding exercises, posture correction and changes to how you work.

Chronic pain & muscle spasm

When pain has lasted for months, the nervous system itself becomes more sensitive. We combine education, graded activity, trigger point therapy and relaxation techniques to calm the system and get you doing more.

Dry needling & cupping therapy

Dry needling uses fine sterile needles to release tight trigger points, and cupping uses suction to ease muscle tension. Both are used alongside exercise, never instead of it, to relieve pain and speed up recovery.

Our approach

How we treat joint pain

  1. 01

    Find the cause

We examine the painful joint and the joints above and below it, since knee pain often starts at the hip or foot.

  2. 02

    Relieve pain

Manual therapy, trigger point release, dry needling, taping or electrotherapy where it helps you move more freely.

  3. 03

    Build strength

Progressive strength and mobility work that makes the joint more tolerant of walking, stairs and daily tasks.

  4. 04

    Self-management

Simple routines, activity pacing and footwear advice so you stay in control between visits.

Questions patients ask

Knee & joint pain: your questions answered

Physiotherapy or orthopaedic doctor for knee pain?

For most knee pain without a major injury, such as arthritis, overuse or kneecap pain, you can start directly with a physiotherapist, who will assess the knee and treat it with exercise and hands-on care. See an orthopaedic doctor first if the knee swelled up badly after an injury, locks or gives way, you cannot put weight on it, or it is hot and red with fever. Physiotherapists and orthopaedic doctors often work together, and we refer you when needed.

Can physiotherapy help knee osteoarthritis without surgery?

Yes. Exercise therapy is a first-line, guideline-recommended treatment for knee osteoarthritis. Strengthening the thigh and hip muscles, staying active and managing body weight reduce pain and improve walking for most people. Knee replacement is usually considered when severe pain and stiffness continue despite good conservative care.

Is dry needling safe?

When performed by a trained physiotherapist using sterile, single-use needles, dry needling is considered safe. You may feel a brief twitch or ache, and mild soreness for a day afterwards is normal. It is not suitable for everyone, for example people with a fear of needles or certain medical conditions, so we always discuss it with you first.

How long does plantar fasciitis take to heal?

Most people improve over 6 to 12 weeks with consistent stretching, strengthening and footwear changes, although long-standing heel pain can take longer. Starting treatment early usually means a faster recovery.

Can joint pain be treated without medicines?

Often, yes. Exercise, manual therapy, heat or cold, electrotherapy and activity changes relieve many types of joint pain. If you take medicines prescribed by your doctor, do not stop them on your own: physiotherapy works well alongside medical treatment.
